Terms and Conditions
1. Booking confirmation
By making a booking through 'staywaihibeach.com' managed by Beach Super Host, you (the guest) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and our privacy policy.
If you make a booking, you will be sent payment instructions via invoice supplied to your email. Payment is due within 48hrs of booking time or booking will be cancelled. Please notify us when you have made the payment then your booking will be confirmed immediately via email. Check in details will be provided 3 days before check-in via email.
Some bookings may require acceptance and these will be at Beach Super Host's sole discretion.
Acceptance and confirmation of a booking will give you a license to occupy the relevant property on the booked days only and subject to full compliance with all terms and conditions.
2. Persons on booking and maximum persons
Bookings must not exceed the maximum number of people specified on the property listing, regardless of the number of beds available at the property.
The booking is valid for the number of persons and group configuration as indicated on the booking request. Any changes to the booking should be communicated to Beach Super Host to ensure the booking remains valid.
3. Cancellations and booking changes
If the booking is cancelled by you the guest a full refund for cancellations or reductions in nights stayed will be made provided the cancellation or change is made at least 5 days before check-in. The exception to this is stays over the period between 24 December and 8 January, cancellations for this period must be received prior to 1 December in order to be eligible for a full refund.
No refunds for cancellations made within 5 days of check-in.
What is, or is not refunded, is the total amount paid. Inclusive of cleaning fees and/or any other extra charges.
Payment is due within 48hrs of a booking time or booking will be cancelled.
Premature departure during a booking will not be eligible for any refunds.
Booking changes are by agreement only once your booking is confirmed.
4. Forgotten items
If you leave personal items and request them to be sent somewhere or picked up there will be a $30 administration/call out fee plus postage if applicable. Beach Super Host and 'staywaihibeach.com' reserve the right not send difficult items eg. if too large or heavy to post. Beach Super Host holds no liability for items forgotten by guests.
5. Person making the booking
You, as the person making the booking, must be present and onsite at the property throughout the stay, unless otherwise agreed to by Beach Super Host. If you do not stay at the property during the booking but your guests do, you will still be legally responsible for all your obligations under these Terms and Conditions and your guests' compliance with them. You may be asked for government issued identification by one of our staff.
6. Specific property details and rules
You will be sent, before your arrival, all details and rules pertaining to your property. Many of these rules you will find in the details section on the website under the property you are interested in. Other rules, passwords and check in details will be made available closer to check in.
9. Cleaning and rubbish
The property should be left in a reasonable state to which it was found, any furniture moved from its location upon arrival must be replaced into original positions before check out. Your cleaning fee covers a vacuum, a wipe of surfaces, replacing linens, a general clean. It does not cover picking up rubbish, cleaning dishes, picking up dog poop, reorganizing furniture etc. You may be charged additionally if the cleaning is excessive.
Rubbish and recycling bins are provided for and all rubbish at the end of the stay is to be placed in these. Please contact Beach Super Host if the bins are full.

In addition to anything else stated in these Terms and without limiting Beach Super Hosts and 'staywaihibeach.com' rights, a breach of the following rules could result in possible eviction from the property and/or up to $1,000 being charged per occurrence:
12. Unavailability
If the property becomes unavailable for any reason after the booking request is confirmed and the property owner or Beach Super Host is responsible for the property becoming unavailable. A full refund will be given or alternative accommodation offered. Guests may choose between the refund or alternative accommodation at their discretion.
13. Business Purposes
The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply if the property is used for business purposes.
14. Liability
Any use of amenities, such as kayaks, canoes, surf boards, bikes, spa pools, is entirely at your own risk and neither Beach Super Host nor the property owner will be liable for any injury, loss or damage you or any other person may suffer.
You will advise Beach Super Host before your departure of any loss or damage that has occurred at the property during your stay.
You will be responsible for the full costs, both direct and consequential, including time of Beach Super Host and/or the owner and its representatives, of repairing or replacing any and all damage to the property and/or its contents, any lost income or other costs incurred by Beach Super Hosts and /or the owner and its representatives.
None of Beach Super Hosts, its agents, contractors or the property owner will be liable for any event beyond their reasonable control, or for any loss or damage you or any other person suffers during your stay, or for any damage to the property.

10. Additional services and charges
Additional charges (+GST) will be payable as follows:
- $75 for lost keys,
- $25 each for lost / damaged Welcome Guide book
- $30 per hour to organize third parties to rectify a situation that has been caused by a breach of these terms and conditions. This includes property damage under the excess of the insurance.
- Missing linen
- The cost of repair or replacement of damaged or missing items.
- Debt collection and legal fees incurred in the collection of unpaid charges
- Costs will billed to you after your stay and payment will be due within 48 hours or debt collection and legal fees will also be added.
11. Other rules
In addition to anything else stated in these Terms and without limiting Beach Super Hosts and 'staywaihibeach.com' rights, a breach of the following rules could result in possible eviction from the property and/or up to $1,000 being charged per occurrence:
- Pitching of caravans or tents on the property without the consent of Beach Super Host.
- Parties, events, weddings, receptions, stag/hen festivities without Beach Super Hosts prior consent. Parties include extra persons not authorized by Beach Super Host.
- Excess people above the maximum, not authorized by Beach Super Host.
- Smoking on the property unless permitted by the property listing.
- Abuse, including verbal or physical, of Beach Super Host's representatives, the owner or its representatives or the neighbours.
- Undue nuisance or noise to neighbours or the local community.
- Use of illegal substances or conduct of illegal activities at the property
- Anything that could invalidate the insurance policy for the property.
- Cutting keys or obtaining remote door controls for the property.
- Tampering with smoke alarms.
- Leaving a fireplace, oven, or any other cooking unattended.
- Booking on behalf of another person without intending to be at the property during the stay.
- Bringing a pet onsite when unauthorised, or inside the house if the house only allows pets outside.
- Should you be evicted from the property, the holiday manager may remain on-site at the property as you ready for departure.
12. Unavailability
If the property becomes unavailable for any reason after the booking request is confirmed and the property owner or Beach Super Host is responsible for the property becoming unavailable. A full refund will be given or alternative accommodation offered. Guests may choose between the refund or alternative accommodation at their discretion.
13. Business Purposes
